How It Works
Send a video of you and your horse in action to Tanya. Capture the good and the bad maneuvers, focus in on the areas you'd like help with. Send the video to Tanya.- She will watch and analyze your performance and create a custom list of training steps and exercises for you and your horse.
- Then she will set up a time to review the video and her training tips with you.
- Two weeks later, she will follow up with you to check on your progress and offer additional advice.
- Watch a video of Tanya demonstrating a drill for perfecting a great turn-around.
How much does it cost?
Single Consultation: A standard video consultation (up to 20 minutes of video and two training sessions over the phone) Cost: $75.00
Consultation Series: Sign up for six months of training assistance and get a discount! When you sign up for a six month training plan with Tanya you can send up to two videos a month. Combine this with two phone calls a month with Tanya to kick-start, and then fine-tune your training sessions. Cost: $50/month, payable in advance (total cost: $300).
Series Bonus: When you sign up for Tanya's consultation plan, you'll also get to meet with her at shows for a 20 minute "show tune-up". Get real-time tips and techniques from Tanya to help you in the show pen. Tanya travels around the country to major regional and national shows. Check her show calendar to find out when she'll be in your area.
How soon can I expect a response from Tanya?
Please call Tanya before sending your video. Response times will depend on when Tanya is in town and when she is at a show. [Check her show calendar to see a list of shows she'll be attending.] Typically, you can expect a reply within a week of Tanya receiving your video.
What should I send?
Get a friend to video you and your horse performing the maneuvers you would like Tanya to analyze.
Transfer up to 20 minutes of video to a DVD. Nothing fancy, no menus needed, just the video - write your name, your horse's name and your phone number, along with the date of the video on the DVD. You may also send show pen videos for review.
[Alternative: you can upload your video to YouTube, set the video to private viewing, and send the link to Tanya. There is a 10 minute maximum length set by YouTube. However, transferring the video to a DVD will allow Tanya to watch your video with much better clarity and on a larger screen.]
Include a short, written list of the key areas and maneuvers you'd like help with.
